SharePoint Tip of the day – Don’t forget you don’t have a SPContext in your event receiver (synchroneous or asynchroneous)


… so whenever you're calling some utilities helper class from your receiver code, make sure they are not relying on the SPContext … (you can still have a classic httpcontext in your synchroneous event, that can be handy)
